Top Transit Technology Innovations
Mass Transit magazine presents the opportunity to recognize technological innovations that are making a difference in the public transit industry.
We will recognize 20 innovations for their contributions to the industry as part of our February 2010 issue. It is not a ranking, but rather a listing of products or systems that have proven themselves in the industry.
Whether it’s a new product on the vehicle, an updated process in the shop, or a current system in dispatch, we want to hear about any of the latest-and-greatest innovations you have or are using.
Criteria for selection includes such things as creating cost savings, improving employee and/or rider safety, improving a transit agency’s security and creating a more sustainable operation. While no single innovation may possess all criteria, we are looking to highlight those that have made a significant difference.
